Caring Women’s Care Circle was initiated by a group of caring women in the Greater Toronto Area after realizing the importance of having a healing place and center where women find sanctuary to share their stories, seek support, and practice gratitude in order to improve their health and wellbeing while fostering and building a knowledge-sharing culture.
After an unprecedented global public health crisis hit us hard, the spread of the pandemic and drastic measures taken to protect the public were established, the isolation and loneliness forced us to face the unspoken, unresolved trauma that we have carried so long – trauma that has exacerbated the social inequality and poverty that we face daily.
The collective anxiety and uncertainty we face during COVID-19 have forced us to look deep within ourselves, and we know to heal our hearts, we have to take dramatic actions that result in a meaningful change. One way we know holistic healing can be achieved is by creating a sanctuary space for women to share in a knowledge-based culture of wellbeing and wellness through storytelling. And that is how the Caring Women Care Circle came to fruition. We are all about building connections, building community and building confidence.
